A: Our garden rooms do not usually require planning permission as they fall within Permitted Development Rules under Class E.
However if you live in an area that requires planning permission, InFrame Space will competed any applications on your behalf.
A: Our steel frame structure is design on a 300mm grid meaning that you can choose standard room sizes in multples of 300mm steel panels. I.E. 4.6m can be increased to 4.9m / 5.2m /5.5m etc.
Any other size garden room which falls outside our standard grid design requires bespoke panels to be manufactured at extra cost and therefore the design is classed as a bespoke design and quoted for as such.
A: Yes you can, our bespoke garden rooms can be made to your specifications.
A: Yes it will. Gardens rooms have become even more important over the last 12 months. Well designed garden rooms add functionality to your home in a way that an extension can’t. So yes they do add value to your home.
A: You can use your new space for any use you need, if that is an acoustically soundproof music room, an art studio that lets in large amounts of natural light, a teenagers hideout, an office, a gaming room, a chill out space, a workout space or simply an additional space. The list is endless.
Designated land includes National Parks, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, World Heritage Sites or conservation areas. If you’re looking to build a garden room on this type of land, there are a few more outbuilding planning permission requirements in addition to those stated previously.
For each of these designated lands, except conservation areas, the rules for building a garden room are as follows:
- You may build without planning permission if your garden room is located more than 20 metres from your main building and less than 10m x 10m in size.
- You may build a garden room larger than 10m x 10m with planning permission.
For all designated lands, including conservation areas:
- You cannot build a garden room to the side of your property without planning permission.
