Client Brief:
Our clients wanted a versatile pool house that could be enjoyed throughout the year, creating the perfect space to relax, entertain and spend time together as a family. Positioned alongside their swimming pool, the building was designed to provide a comfortable retreat after a swim while also serving as a sociable entertaining space.
A key part of the brief was achieving a strong connection between the indoor and outdoor areas. To maximise this, the design incorporates two sets of bifold doors, allowing the entire space to be opened up during warmer months and creating a seamless flow between the poolside terrace and the interior.
Inside, the pool house has been tailored to suit a variety of uses. A bespoke bar area provides the ideal setting for entertaining friends and family, while comfortable seating creates a relaxing environment for quieter moments. The space regularly hosts family movie nights, offers a peaceful spot to unwind with a good book, and has become a favourite place for the teenagers to spend time with their friends.
The result is a highly functional and beautifully designed garden building that delivers the perfect balance between relaxation, entertainment and family living, while making the most of its stunning poolside setting.
